Humble Brags started as a podcast because we wanted to have the conversations that founders actually needed to hear. Raw, honest ones. The kind that make you feel less alone at 11pm when you are questioning everything you have built.
What we did not expect was how many people felt the same way.
From those conversations grew a community. Events, retreats, dinners, a private membership and a growing audience of some of the most ambitious founders across Australia and New Zealand. All built on one belief: that human connection is not a nice to have for founders. It is the thing that changes everything.
We exist at the intersection of business and human connection. Every experience we create is curated with our community at the centre, designed to put the right people in the room together and give them the space to actually connect.

Humble Brags is a simple concept that doesn't exist in Australia.
Carmel Zein is a DTC growth and marketing strategist with a deep love for building brands that actually connect with people.
With 10 years in the ecommerce space, she has worked across every corner of the marketing mix, launched companies into the Australian market and co-founded Staje, a supplement brand.
Humble Brags was born from a simple belief that community changes everything. Carmel built it because she needed it and could not find it anywhere else.

Hannah Udina is the Humble Brags Podcast co host and Head of Partnerships at Shopify, a natural connector at heart.
With a background in law and a passion for people, she’s spent the last decade building impactful partnerships across tech, ecommerce, and payments, helping shape the way we shop today. Her superpower? Translating big-picture strategy into meaningful, human-first relationships between brands, platforms, and communities.
Hannah is an expert communicator, a curious learner, and an advocate for doing business with both purpose and optimism.
